An error does not become truth by reason of multiplied propagation, nor does truth become error because nobody sees it. Truth stands, even if there be no public support. It is self-sustained.

良く知られているからといって過ちは真実にはならないし、誰も見ていないからといって真実が過ちになることもない。真実はたとえ公の支持がなくとも立ち上がる。それは自立しているのだ。
